Treats in Paradise

This week PEP provided treats for the teacher staff meeting at Pine Ridge Elementary in Paradise Unified. We also had popsicles ready for Pine Ridge teacher Shelly Bettencourt's kindergarteners when they got back from their field trip to the Oroville Forebay.

Today PEP delivered a STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) activity bundle, as well as a large container of Legos to Dylan Wakefield's class at McManus Elementary. Oh yeah, treats were also delivered to some excited students!

It was an enjoyable time sharing breakfast with this group of enthusiastic Chicoans who care deeply for their city. Their desire to support schools, including their literacy focus (shout out to Reading Pals!) made for a great connection with PEP!
