About
Positive Educational Partnerships
Positive Educational Partnerships (PEP) is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization that builds bridges between schools and the community to support the academic achievement of all students in Chico, Butte County and the California Northstate. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, and that strong partnerships between schools and the community are essential to making that happen.
PEP works with schools to identify needs, such as classroom supplies, playground equipment, books for the library, or volunteers. We work to find community organizations or individuals who are interested in meeting those needs. We serve as a bridge, connecting schools and the community to create a better future for all students.
PEP is a vital part of the Chico community. We work with schools, businesses, nonprofits, and individuals to create a more equitable and supportive learning environment for all students. We believe that when schools and the community work together, all students can succeed.
PEP is committed to supporting students and staff who have been impacted by Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). We know that ACEs can have a lasting negative impact on students' health, behaviors, and life potential. That's why we work with schools to implement trauma-informed practices and to provide support to staff who are working with students who have experienced ACEs.
PEP is a powerful force for good in the Chico community. We are committed to working with schools and the community to create a better future for all students.

PEP believes that strong social-emotional learning (SEL) skills are essential for success in school and in life. That's why we support programs and initiatives that help students and school staff develop their emotional intelligence, resilience, and coping skills.
Provide classroom and school supplies
PEP is committed to ensuring that all Chico students have access to the supplies they need to succeed in school. We provide funding and support for schools to purchase classroom and school supplies. PEP's support for classroom and school supplies helps to ensure that all Chico students have the tools they need to learn and thrive.
Provide opportunities to become involved on school campuses
PEP believes that it is important for the community to be involved in their schools. We support a variety of opportunities for people to become involved on school campuses. PEP's support for community involvement in schools helps to build strong relationships between schools and the community.
