PEP's October Newsletter

Hello PEP friends and supporters!

It looks like we are finally getting some autumn weather, and that means October is here!  For educators, October can be a very long, busy month because students are getting a bit restless for a break, report cards are around the corner and Halloween is almost here.  Lots of excitement, and PEP is looking forward to helping both students and educators have a good October.

Here are a few things we have done and are planning on doing to make October not so scary:

-Deliver Cookie Shoppe treats to numerous schools.

-“Boo” schools with big bags of Halloween treats.

-Deliver Teacher Wishlist items to Parkview Elementary that are focused on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) instruction.

-Deliver Beatniks Coffee House and Breakfast Joint gift cards to every staff member at Parkview Elementary that were generously donated by owner Mike Cress.

-In the next two weeks, we will be delivering hundreds of dollars of classroom supplies to McManus and Citrus Elementaries that were provided by the clients of PEP partner Kevin Baker Allstate Insurance Agency and other local Allstate agents.

-Provide a Teacher Wishlist opportunity to Wyandotte Academy, funded by a community member.

Thank you for all of your donations that made these students and teachers’ October a little less tricky and a lot more treaty!

If you are contemplating a charitable contribution as you review your end-of-year tax picture, please consider supporting PEP.  The learning that students do is vital, as are the educators that are doing the teaching.  We are truly impacting the future by supporting schools! Bridge Builder,

Todd
